Kiboud
Maulana

Indonesia's top jazz and blues guitarist and one of its most successful band
leaders. Born into a musical family (his brother Ireng, also a
guitarist, runs the annual Jakarta Jazz Festival) he trained originally as a
classical violinist.
His Jakarta All Stars group is widely regarded as the best jazz group in
Indonesia and has been invited several times to play at the biggest festival in
Europe, the North Sea Jazz Festival in The Hague. In 1997 he was invited to play
